Fixed issues

  • Users with “Manage device template”-rights without “Manage devices”-rights were not able to manage templates because there is a dependency. This dependency is made explicit and visually clear when viewing a role’s permissions in the Admin.
  • When resetting the message “Rate limit active” or “Device is blocked” in the Cloud Connection Status component, the message remained visible. This has been fixed.
  • A visual bug in the Portal’s userlist is fixed by no longer wrapping texts in columns.
  • Marking a device as favorite incorrectly required “Manage devices”-rights. This has been fixed.
  • Opening an HTTP service in Safari occasionally got blocked as a pop-up. This has been fixed by applying a new method of opening HTTP services in Safari.
  • The VPN access list at Fleet Manager > Devices > Your device > VPN connect did not simultaneously show the users’ name and access when the name or role exceeded a certain length. This has been fixed by limiting the column width and showing any overflowed characters on hover.
  • Overlapping text at various fields at Admin > Identity when using long names. This has been fixed by auto-expanding the field’s height.
  • At Studio > Reports the component settings panel remained open when you navigated to another page. The settings panel will now correctly close when you navigate to another page.
  • In some cases, long device names exceeded the preview device selector in the Studio. This has been resolved by cutting off long device names in the device selector control.
  • VNC zoom hiccups on iOS have been resolved.
  • Unnecessary whitespace has been removed from all Device data source pages (variables, tags, and triggers) in the Fleet Manager.
  • The custom time period setting, when sending a report from the Portal, was reset to default if you would re-open that setting. This has been fixed.
  • When using the List view in the Portal devices overview, the connect buttons always showed the services as being available. Even when the device would be offline. This has been fixed.
  • Various visual user interface issues in the mobile app have been fixed.
  • Setting up another VPN connection while you already had one active did not work well on iOS. The active VPN connection is now properly closed when you set up another VPN connection.
  • The (Cloud 2) framework for mobile applications has been updated. As a consequence, the minimal OS version required for Android and iOS changed. The minimal versions are:
    • Android 5.1
    • iOS 13
