Can I connect a device to the cloud without a physical router?

We are using the IXON routers in our larger systems to enable connectivity from our offices.

However, we just developed a lower-cost system that we would like to connect to the cloud as well, so our service engineers can service them.

That system is based on a Raspberry Pi (4) and I would like to run some kind of service on it, so it shows up as a device in the fleet manager, without having to add a IXON router (this would not be cost effective for this product).

Is that possible, and if so, how?
