Frequency
The IXrouter receives a firmware update 2-3 times a year. These release notes can also be found at the bottom at Fleet Manager > Devices > Your device > Info.
Features
- USB over IP: Enables remote access to devices without an Ethernet port.
- 1:1 NAT: An easier and more flexible alternative to Port forwarding.
- This feature is currently only available on the device’s local web interface. It will be added to the IXON Cloud in the future.
- VPN source NAT: Only relevant for use with an M2M Cloud Cluster. Enables machine to server communication without needing a unique machine IP range.

- Data logging now continues when one or more tags contain an error.
- DNS rebind protection is configurable: Disabling this setting allows access to domains in the corporate network from inside the machine network.

Fixes
- Addressed FragAttacks vulnerability.
- Fixed an issue that prevented Stealth Mode from working in combination with a WAN proxy.
- Fixed an issue where the device’s internal clock could drift after 49 days of uptime.
- Fixed an issue where VPN forwarding rules would disappear when configuring WAN forwarding rules on the local web interface.
- Fixed an issue where it was possible to leave the password empty for the LAN Wi-Fi hotspot on the local web interface, resulting in a non-working Wi-Fi hotspot.
- Fixed an issue with setting up the cellular connection to an AT&T network.
- Fixed an issue where on a rare occasion the data logging would temporarily stop while being stored locally.
- Fixed an issue where the cellular connection would not set up for SIM cards with PIN.
- Fixed an issue where the LAN Wi-Fi hotspot would not activate or have recurring timeouts if WAN Wi-Fi was also configured but not connected.
- [opc ua] Fixed an issue where invalid data received from the PLC would cause data logging to halt.
Changes
- Alarms are no longer triggered when the device (re)boots or a new configuration is pushed.
- Log on change tags are no longer logged when the device (re)boots or a new configuration is pushed.
- The configuration and data logging connection now fall back to IPv4 when the IPv6 connection fails.
- Added an enable DHCP button in LAN settings on the local web interface.
