Frequency
The IXrouter3 receives a firmware update ~4 times a year. These release notes can also be found at the bottom at Fleet Manager > Devices > Your device > Info.
Features
- System log is stored on disk, providing insights for troubleshooting after a reboot.
- MTU size is automatically set to the value received from the provider when configured MTU size is empty in the local web interface. An empty MTU size would previously select 1500 by default.
Fixes
- Fixed an issue where network registration for cellular was not retried after reaching the registration timeout, causing the edge gateway to remain offline.
- Firmware upgrade is performed without an initial reboot, fixing an issue where the upgrade could fail when the failover connection is in use.
- OPC UA data sources no longer crash when the “maxNodesPerRead” property could not be retrieved.
- Fixed an issue with Siemens data sources to recover on error, which previously could cause a gap in data.
- Fixed an issue which could cause a socket leak preventing the edge gateway to establish an MQTT-connection.
