Release notes

  • IXON Cloud 2.47.1
  • API version 0.1.229 (details)

Frequency
The IXON Cloud and IXON’s API are updated weekly.

Features

  • The new version of the Service Logbook is available. This update is designed to make your work more efficient and collaborative with useful new features:
    • Easy export: The new export feature allows you to export the entire service logbook or a single note to a CSV file for easy sharing or archiving.
    • Quick search: You can quickly find what you need with our search feature. No more endless scrolling - just a few clicks to get to the information you are looking for.
    • Text formatting: You can make notes visually appealing and easy to read with rich text or markdown options. Easily add headings, lists and formatting to improve readability.
    • Insight into changes: Want to know who edited which note? With our new feature, you can see at a glance who is responsible for changes, so you always have transparency.
    • Author information: Regardless of user permissions, we always show the name of the person who created a note. This encourages accountability and collaboration within your team.
  • The time synchronization for the IXrouter3 (firmware 3.26) is now configurable. By default the IXrouter3 synchronizes its time with the IXON API. You can now configure it to synchronize with local or public time servers instead.

Improvements

  • The rate limit error message in the Cloud Connection Status component has been expanded with information to help diagnose the problem.
  • Asset types can now be managed directly from the bottom of the navigation menu in Admin. This makes it easier to create, rearrange, edit, or delete asset types.
  • The number of custom fields created for each asset type is now displayed in Admin.
  • The number of custom fields available in the company is displayed in the Custom fields menu in Admin.
  • The order in which we display multiple roles for a single user in the user menu and popovers has changed. Company-wide roles are now always displayed first, followed by group-specific roles, and finally device-specific roles.

Fixed issues

  • Fixed an issue where accepting an invite over Single Sign-On with uppercase characters in the e-mail address would fail.
