Release notes
- Week 43
- IXwebapp version: 2.21.3
- API version 0.1.121 (details)
Frequency
The IXON Cloud and IXON’s API are updated weekly.
Improvements
- Device page navigation has been changed from a tabbed menu at the top to a list menu on the left for consistency and a clearer page overview. This menu was previously only active when pages were grouped.
- Group types were previously ordered alphabetically, but can now be ordered manually in the Admin.
- It is possible to remotely reboot a device when it has an active configuration connection. To use this feature, upgrade your device to firmware 3.22.
- Modbus variables are read in blocks for efficiency reasons. Some Modbus servers however cannot handle read-requests of non-existent addresses that might be part of a block. To overcome this situation an ‘Optimized’ read mode is introduced. This mode will split a block if the data addresses are not adjacent to each other. To use this feature, upgrade your device to firmware 3.22.
Fixed issues
- In rare situations the device name was not correctly shown in Messages. Instead, {{agentName}} was shown. This has been fixed.
- Sorting devices on firmware version did not correctly take Semantic Versioning into account. This has been fixed.
- It was possible to link Cards, that were not yet published, to devices in the Fleet manager. This has been fixed.
- Marking a device as favorite would make device pages visible to users that should not have access to these pages based on their access category. This has been fixed.
